The Friendship Veterans Fire Engine Association, based in Alexandria, Virginia, is excited to announce the celebration of its 250th anniversary. This momentous occasion will be marked with a special non-motorized antique fire apparatus muster. Scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2024, the event promises a unique showcase of historical firefighting equipment, including hand-drawn and horse-drawn hose carts, hose carriages, hand-pumpers, and other firefighting apparatus from the 1700s and 1800s.
