Passing of SPAAMFAA & ODHFS Member Charlie Black

A longtime very active member who served as Trustee, Vice President and Senior Vice President of SPAAMFAA as well as serving on many committees, has passed away. He also was a life long member of the Maryland Fire Service.  Chief Charlie Black had suffered a debilitating stroke in June of 2003 (he was serving as Senior Vice President of SPAAMFAA at the time) and was never able to fully recover. A former Fire Chief, past president of the Maryland Fire Chiefs. he was also a very successful Pierce dealer thru his business, Potomac Fire Equipment and he was the heart and soul of the world famous Chesapeake Fire Museum in Hebron, Maryland.

FUNERAL DETAILS:
SHORT FUNERAL HOME - DELMAR. VISITATION FRIDAY OCTOBER 25 1800-2000 Hours

VISITATION SATURDAY 1000-1100 Hours followed by a service, graveside and then fellowship.
