Passing of ODHFS Life Member Pat Bahen
Wednesday, April 7th, 2021
The ODHFS regrets to announce that ODHFS Life Member Patrick Aloysius Bahen, 72, of Mechanicsville, Va., died Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Bon Secours Hospice in Richmond, Va. Pat was an early Founding Member of the ODHFS having been involved with the club since day one.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 9 at Bliley’s-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, VA. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 10 at Hollywood Cemetery. A livestream link to view the funeral virtually can be found at blileys.com. Donations may be sent to The Virginia Home, 1101 Hampton St, Richmond, Va. 23220.

ODHFS member Herb Delbridge and his “PURPLE HEART TRUCK” were on display at MISSION BBQ on March 29, 2022 to commemorate the National Vietnam War Veterans Day. Mr. Delbridge created this truck to honor all US War veterans.

On March 19, 2022, The Petersburg Fire Department held a commemoration Memorial Service for a LODD that they suffered exactly 40 years ago. Sgt. Mike Goff was killed in a building collapse during a multiple alarm fire.
