ODHFS member Herb Delbridge and his “PURPLE HEART TRUCK” were on display at MISSION BBQ on March 29, 2022 to commemorate the National Vietnam War Veterans Day. Mr. Delbridge created this truck to honor all US War veterans.

On March 19, 2022, The Petersburg Fire Department held a commemoration Memorial Service for a LODD that they suffered exactly 40 years ago. Sgt. Mike Goff was killed in a building collapse during a multiple alarm fire.

President Tom Herman regrets to announce that ODHFS Central region member Jim Hanifer has passed away. Jim had been a member of ODHFS since 2012 and could be seen each July 4th Brandermill parade riding with one of us through the parade.

The ODHFS regrets to announce that Northern Region Member James Allison passed away on Wednesday, August 25th. Visitation will be Friday, September 3rd from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, VA.
