I hope everyone had a safe Independence Day! With lots of parades going on throughout the state, I’m sure there are pictures out there that we can share on the Facebook page and website. You can send them to me or E-mail to ODHFS WebChief Jack Sullivan. Also if you know of any event going on in your area please let us know. We are only a week away from the open barn day at the Virginia Fire Museum happening on July 16 here in Roanoke, Va. The address is 1090 Service Ave Ext., 24013 from 10am - 4pm. If anyone is interested in a vendor spot there are some available. Let me know ASAP so I can arrange a spot. Space is limited. If you are bringing a piece of apparatus please contact vafiremuseum@gmail.com or contact our Executive Director: Johanna Schmersal at 301 524 3644. Also upcoming is our annual muster in Farmville on October 8, 2022. More to come on that event as we get closer. Please contact me if you need anything.
