Passing of ODHFS Member Thomas "Shanon" Berry
Wednesday, September 14th, 2022

The ODHFS has received word that Shanon Berry passed away Monday morning (9/12/22) after his long battle with cancer. He has served as a member of Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Company for many years and was a past chief of the volunteer company. He was also a member of the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department and had a career in the government fire service. He owns the old 1931 Fredericksburg Fire Department Engine 2.

The ODHFS regrets to announce that Richmond Retired Firefighter Richard H. Crowder, Sr., 93, passed away the morning of September 15, 2022, at 2:00 am. He had previously worked at Truck 3, Truck 7 and was one of the original members of Engine 25, where he was stationed when he retired.
