SUMMARY:(VA) 2025 Oyster Festival Fireman's Parade
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Oyster Festival Foundation\, the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department\, Mike’s Custom Golf Car’s and Friday’s Malise Marine\, I extend an invitation to your department to participate in the 2025 Oyster Festival Fireman’s Parade. This year’s Fireman’s Parade will be held Friday\, November 7\, 2025. The parade will begin at 7:00 p.m.\, rain or shine. The parade lineup and judging will occur between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the west side of town limits. All equipment will be judged at this time. \nTrophies will be awarded for the following categories after the parade: \nBest Appearing (1st & 2nd)   Pumper\nBest Appearing (1st & 2nd)   Tanker\nBest Appearing  (1st & 2nd)  Ladder Truck\nBest Appearing  (1st & 2nd)  EMS Unit\nBest Appearing (1st & 2nd)   Brush Truck\nBest Appearing (1st & 2nd)   Specialty Unit\nBest Appearing  (1st & 2nd)  Antique\nBest Appearing (1st & 2nd)   Private Owned Antique\nBest Appearing (1st)    Fire Department Overall\nJudges’ Award (1st)\nGreatest Distance (1st) \nIf you have any questions\, contact John Sears\, Parade Chairman at 804-815-6605. \nYou must RSVP by October 24\, 2025.
