(VA) Front Royal Firefighter’s Carnival Parade
You are cordially invited to participate in our “Annual Firefighter’s Carnival Parade” which will
be held in Front Royal, VA on July 8, 2026. Lineup will begin at 4:30 p.m. and all parade
participants are requested to be in the lineup by 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin promptly at
6:00 p.m.
The route will be approximately 1 mile in length, going from E. Stonewall Dr. to 8th
Street, via Commerce Ave. We will begin on E. Stonewall Drive, turn right on Commerce Ave,
turn right on E. 8th Street and conclude at the Carnival grounds. All walking participants
should meet at the intersection of East Stonewall Drive & Bass Ave for line-up information.
All vehicles will receive their parade number at Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary School (1015 East
Stonewall Drive). Please see the enclosed map for further information.

3. Please submit an organizational email address, we will be sending electronic
information for this parade and future 2027 parade invitations.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES:
1. For safety and insurance reasons, No objects are to be thrown from your unit.
Anyone who does not follow this rule will be disqualified from the judging.
2. All individuals who are driving MUST have a VALID driver’s license.
3. All judging of marching units will be done while units are moving; stopping in
front of the judges’ stand to perform will disqualify your entry. We ask that
units not permit gaps more than 100 feet apart and refrain from sounding
sirens and horns near musical units while they are playing.
4. The judges’ stand will be located in front of the Front Royal Volunteer Fire
Department. All entries will be judged on appearance during the parade
and the field judging will be done at the end of the parade.
5. Prizes and awards will be announced at the carnival grounds at
approximately 9:00 p.m.
6. JUDGES DECISIONS WILL BE FINAL IN ALL AWARDS!
7. Line up numbers that are issued are final. Anyone that is out of order may be
subject to disqualification.
