6:30 – 9:00 PM, Group Social & Dinner, El Parral Restaurant, 670 Commonwealth Blvd., Martinsville, Va.
SATURDAY
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Annual Banquet & Meeting
The VIRGINIA FIRE MUSEUM, 242 TRENTHILL DRIVE, BASSETT, Va.
FEATURING A “SNEAK PEEK” OF THE VIRGINIA FIRE MUSEUM, PRIOR TO THEIR GRAND OPENING LATER THIS SUMMER.
SCHEDULE FOR Saturday:
9:00 AM – Doors open, coffee & donuts, apparatus displays, ODHFS merchandise sales, FD patch swap, tour the museum or just hang out.
10:00 AM – Annual Business Meeting starts
12:00 NOON – Catered Meal – BBQ, fried Chicken, with all the trimmings!
Meal cost will be by YOUR CASH DONATIONS TO THE MUSEUM.
PLEASE NOTE: You must RSVP by March 31 to Tom Herman, 804-590-1239 & leave VM or email tom-herman@att.net.
We must provide a head count to the museum 5 days prior to the event to insure proper food quantity.
1:30 PM – Memorial Service, recognizing those members we lost in 2025.
GUEST SPEAKER – TO BE DETERMINED
2:30 PM – Presentation of Life Membership Certificates & Membership pins.
2:45 PM – Awarding of The Bob White Memorial Helmet
Museum will stay open for touring until 5:00 PM
NOTE: MUSEUM WILL ALSO BE OPEN ON SUNDAY FOR THOSE THAT STAY OVER.
