It will soon be fair time again in Brandy Station. Our fair is August 12th – 16th. A long-standing tradition for volunteer fire departments was to have a firemen’s parade in conjunction with their annual carnival or fair. We are continuing this long-standing tradition here in Brandy Station. Our parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 13th. This year’s parade will take place on State Route 685 (Fleetwood Heights Road), which is north of the fairgrounds. Parade entries will be given lineup locations as they enter Route 676 (Beverly Ford Road) near Elkwood. The parade line-up will begin at 5:30 pm. Registrations can be submitted through the website at https://bsvfd.com/events/
All entries will be judged exclusively during the procession of the parade. An extravagant display of trophies and awards will be on display at the fairgrounds and will be promptly presented between 9:00 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. following the parade.

This year, after several comments and recommendations from the community, we have added a rain date for our parade. The rain date for the parade will be Saturday, August 15th. The lineup will start at 10:00 am, with the parade beginning at 11:00 am and the trophies and awards presented at 2:00 pm.
Come early and enjoy some fine cooked food by the fire department. Miss Virginia and numerous other significant guests have committed to participating in our parade again this year.
